Banzai Sushi House on Westminster Hwy, Richmond

I have not blogged about Banzai Sushi House for a number of years even though we had been eaten here or take out party tray.

We came here on a Saturday around 11AM. We were practically the first eat in customers. There were already some take out orders which is popular here.

Nanzaro ordered the Salmon Don. The salmon sashimi was a generous portion. This is $10.95.

Arkensen ordered a Golden Roll and a Vancouver Roll. The Golden Roll is made with chopped scallop and topped with smoked salmon. The Vancouver Roll is basically California roll topped with smoked salmon. The rolls are $5.45 and $4.45 respectively.

I had the Okonomiyaki which is $7.50. I was expecting it to come in the shape of a pancake but was surprised that it came in a row of triangles. They were deep fried, so they are more crispy than the traditional one. I quite like this version.

Ben had the Maki combo for $11.25.  This combo consists of 1/2 House Roll, 1/2 California Roll, 1/2 Kappa Roll, 1/2 Salmon Roll and 1/2 Spicy Tuna Roll. It was a lot of food. Ben had half of his order to take home for dinner. In fact, Arkensen and I also had some leftover to take home. If you are looking for volume, this is the place to go.

Banzai only accepts cash.
